Terms and Conditions
Who we are
Suncheeter is an Australian swimwear label for women who don't do bikinis, founded by Kate. We sell directly to you through our online shop at suncheeter.com.au, and we post from Melbourne.
The legal details: Suncheeter Australia (ABN 57 209 055 913) is a registered business name of First Edition Pty Ltd as trustee for the Dear Disaster Trust. When you place an order, you are buying from Suncheeter Australia.
These terms
These terms, with our Shipping, Exchange and Refunds and Privacy pages, cover your use of the website and every order you place. By placing an order you agree to them. We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on the site when you place it.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If something is faulty, you're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have it put right if the fault isn't major. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away. Our own returns policy, on the Exchange and Refunds page, is on top of them.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We accept Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal and Afterpay. Your card details go straight to our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number. We confirm your order by email. If an item turns out to be out of stock or was shown at the wrong price, we'll tell you before we post anything, and you can choose a full refund.
Discount codes and promotions
One discount code per order. A code can only be combined with free shipping, not with other discounts. The 15% welcome code is for your first order only. Discount codes don't apply to sale or clearance items. Free shipping is worked out on your total after discounts. Sale prices and promotions run for the dates we announce and can't be applied to earlier orders.
Photos, colours and small batches
We photograph our products as accurately as we can, but every screen shows colour a little differently, so the colour you see may not be an exact match. Our garments are made in small batches, so the placement of a print can vary slightly from the photo. If you've chosen the wrong colour or size, our Exchange and Refunds page tells you what to do. We're always happy to help you get what you need. We keep as much stock as we can, but sometimes a product or size sells out.
Shipping and delivery
We post with Australia Post, with tracking. Our Shipping page has the costs, times and what to do if a parcel is late, lost or damaged. Your order is our responsibility until it reaches you, so if something goes wrong in the post, contact us and we'll sort it out.
International orders
Shipping fees don't include the duties, taxes or handling fees your country may charge when the parcel arrives. Those are set by your country and are yours to pay, and we can't tell you in advance what they'll be. Check with your local customs office before you order if you're unsure. If you refuse the parcel because of these charges, we'll refund the items once the parcel comes back to us, less the shipping and any return costs we're charged.
Our content
The words, photos, designs and logos on this site belong to Suncheeter or are used with permission, and copyright law protects them. Please don't copy, reproduce or sell them without asking us first. Sharing a link to any page is always fine.
The website
Our store runs on Shopify, which provides the online shop platform. We work to keep the site accurate, safe and online, but we can't promise it will never go down or never contain an error, and we may change the information on it at any time. Links to other websites are there for your convenience. We don't control those sites.
