As a beach-oriented brand, I adore being on the beach and swimming in the sea, but it is distressing to read about ocean pollution. I feel compelled to make every effort to use fabrics that feature good aesthetics such as hand feel and performance, but also offer something back. Being part of the circular economy is an important part of being in business.

I use recycled and eco fabrics using ocean waste, such as discarded fishing nets, and ocean bound plastic bottles which are re-purposed into high quality performance fabrics.

All our fabrics are:

  • LONG LASTING; chlorine and salt-water resistant.
  • SUN SAFE; offering UVP50+ sun protection,
  • FEEL FAB;  cool to touch, soft and silky,
  •  PERFORM SUPERBLY;
    • Keep their shape when wet and dry,
    • Dry quickly when wet,
  • KEEP YOU COOL; "Wick” heat away from the body
  • EASY CARE; machine washable.

Our fabrics include:

Fabric made from ECONYL® yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon made by recovering nylon waste such as fishing nets and industrial waste which would otherwise pollute the Earth.

Fabric made from post-consumer and ocean bound plastic bottles, sourced from Repreve Textiles ®

These fabrics are soft and breathable and is twice as resistant to chlorine and suntan creams than other yarns. They are hard-wearing and very high quality.

Performance

I can vouch for the quality of our products; I am still wearing the same Suncheeter Swim dress 5 years after purchasing it.
